WILDESTARR Recording New Album

WILDESTARR, the California-based symphonic metal duo consisting of powerhouse vocalist London Wilde and guitarist/bassist Dave Starr (VICIOUS RUMORS, CHASTAIN), has entered Big White studios in Alameda, California to begin recording its sophomore album for a tentative spring 2011 release.

Commented Starr: "We are firing on all cylinders. The new songs are crushing, and Josh [Foster] has been a great addition on drums." Wilde adds, "The new record is stunning. We are very excited to unleash it on the world when the time comes!"

According to a press release, WILDESTARR's debut album, "Arrival", "impressed many fans and critics alike and grabbed the attention of heavyweight publicist Chip Ruggieri (JUDAS PRIEST, Rob Halford) who assisted with promotion."

WILDESTARR's "Arrival" video can be viewed below. According to a press release, the clip is "a visually stunning sci-fi work of art combining dark elements of 'Blade Runner', 'Batman', 'The Outer Limits', and classic film noir."

Dave previously stated about "Arrival", "We spent three years working on this record, and the results are just amazing. It has been a real labor of love for London and I, and this is by far the best record I have ever done in my career. Although I am very proud of my past with VICIOUS RUMORS and all the great records we did, I can honestly say that this new album is better than anything I have ever done before. Great songs, great playing, great production, and London is going to really turn some heads with her amazing vocals; I have never heard a woman sound like this before, she has pipes that people are comparing to Rob Halford, Geoff Tate, and Carl Albert."
