VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony has issued a statement reassuring his fans that his current involvement in a new project with Neal Schon (guitar—JOURNEY), Sammy Hagar (vocals—ex-VAN HALEN), and Deen Castronovo (drums—JOURNEY) does not mean the end of his run with his main group. According to Anthony, “I'm involved in a side project band with Sammy Hagar, Neal Schon and Deen Castronovo. We've been working on a few tunes and having a kick ass time! This does NOT mean I'm leaving VAN HALEN, so don't get your panties in a wad! Sammy asked me to take part in this project and I decided to go for it while VH is on a little break. It's definitely gonna rock!”
