UNDEROATH To Guest On MTV2's 'Headbangers Ball'

After surpassing the 200,000 sales mark with their "They're Only Chasing Safety" CD, UNDEROATH are preparing to release a limited edition CD/DVD version of the album October 4 (Tooth and Nail). The CD/DVD features four rare and previously unreleased songs and over two hours of footage including live performances from all of the band's 2004-2005 tours as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the band and their inner circle. UNDEROATH have also announced a September Canadian tour with THE USED and an October and November U.S. trek with THRICE. In addition, the new video for their second single, "It's A Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door" (highlighted by hammering punk tempos and stop-start guitars), will debut on MTV2's "Headbangers Ball" this week and is now airing on Fuse's "Steven's Untitled Rock Show". Also, on October 1 the band will be in New York for an appearance on MTV2's "Headbangers Ball".

UNDEROATH shot the video for "It’s A Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door" in Hollywood with director Josh Graham (NEUROSIS' "A Sun That Never Sets" DVD, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN's "Unretrofied"). Filmed in a surrealistic environment, the video captures the intensity of the band by drawing upon the elements of nature and utilizing cutting-edge editing techniques and state-of-the-art digital imaging.

After their fall outings, UNDEROATH will head back into the studio — with Adam Dutkiewicz (guitarist for KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) and Matt Goldman (COPELAND, CARTEL) lending a hand — to put the finishing touches on a new album, expected out in spring 2006.
