SPINESHANK Cancel European Tour

SPINESHANK have been forced to pull out of their European tour with CHIMAIRA after a bereavement in one member's family.

A statement issued by their record label, Roadrunner, reads as follows:

"One of the members of SPINESHANK is currently suffering bereavement due to the loss of a close family member, thus necessitating the cancellation of the tour. We respectfully request that the band's privacy in the matter be respected.

"Both bands offer their sincere apologies to fans and ticket holders. The highly anticipated dates, which were to precede the release of the band's third album, 'Self-Destructive Pattern', will be rescheduled for a later date."

"Self Destructive Pattern", due on July 15, was produced by Garth Richardson (RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MUDVAYNE, KITTIE) and was mixed by Jay Baumgardner (PAPA ROACH, ALIEN ANT FARM).
