QUEEN Guitarist BRIAN MAY Slags 'American Idol'

Launch Radio Networks reports: Even though QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS were on "American Idol" this week, guitarist Brian May is no fan of the show. He said that footage the band shot with the contestants was manipulated to make it seem like he undercut Ace, who performed "We Will Rock You" on the show. The guitarist then laid out everything that happened between him and Ace, including how well they worked together, and how supportive he was of what Ace did with "We Will Rock You". To check out everything Brian May had to say, go to the "Soapbox" area on BrianMay.com.

The QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS tour ended on Thursday, April 13, in Vancouver, British Columbia. There's no word on what May and drummer Roger Taylor will do next, while Rodgers has begun announcing solo dates.
