Metal Band Plays For Sheep, Has To Dodge Poop Piles
BRIDLINGTON, England (Wireless Flash) — Lots of bands pay their dues by playing crappy gigs, but how many have to worry about stepping in their audience's feces?
That's the dilemma faced by British metal band TORSOHORSE, which has been forced to book bi-weekly sessions in a local sheep barn when they couldn't find a regular practice space.
The singer, who goes just by "Adam" and compares his band to SLIPKNOT, says the sheep barn is a great place to practice — except you do have to keep an eye out for sheep doo doo.
So far, there've been no complaints from the sheep. In fact, the farmer actually asked TORSOHOUSE to play in the barn more often.
Adam says the farmer claims the sheep now give birth to more lambs and yield more wool since heavy metal came into their lives.
