KATATONIA: In Writing Mode

Sweden's KATATONIA have posted the following message on their web site:

"KATATONIA have just returned back home from the last Euro gigs that wraps up all live activities for the rest of the year. Thanks to all our devoted listeners for coming out and sharing the atmosphere with us on the road, you rule!!! We will now enter writing/pre-production mode and will spend this winter recording what is to become our seventh album. Updates and progress will follow."

KATATONIA's last studio album, "Viva Emptiness", was released in 2003 via Peaceville Records/Snapper Music. A two-disc compilation of all of their previously out-of-print mini-CDs, plus sampler tracks from old full-length albums and one unreleased track, entitled "Brave Yester Days", was issued earlier this year through Century Media Records.
