HOLY MOSES: Early Albums To Be Reissued

German thrashers HOLY MOSES will have their early albums "Finished with the Dogs" (1987) and "The New Machine of Liechtenstein" (1989) reissued through Armageddon Music on August 8. The CDs were digitally re-mastered and will be released in the jewel-case format, with full booklets, lyrics, liner notes, modified artwork and never-before-seen photos of HOLY MOSES and the group's frontwoman, Sabina Classen. In addition, both albums will include bonus live tracks that were recorded in the years that followed the group reunion in 2001. "The New Machine of Liechtenstein" contains two bonus live tracks — "SSP" (recorded live at Kallewerk in Bad Salzungen, Germany on May 14, 2005) and "Lost in the Maze" (recorded at the Rock Harz Festival in Osterode on July 9, 2005) — while "Finished with the Dogs" features no less than four bonus live songs in the shape of "Current of Death" (recorded live at Backstage in Munich, Germany on May 11, 2005), "Life's Destroyer" (recorded live at Kallewerk in Bad Salzungen, Germany on May 14, 2005), "In the Slaughterhouse" (recorded live at Backstage in Munich, Germany on May 11, 2005) and the title track, "Finished with the Dogs" (recorded live at Stonehenge Festival in Holland on July 31, 2004). The remastering, live recordings and the mix were overseen by producer Michael Hankel at Blue Castle Studio in Hamburg, Germany.

Armageddon Music have announced plans to re-release the rest of HOLY MOSES' early catalog in the fall, including the 1986 debut "Queen of Siam" (which has never been released on CD), 1990's "World Chaos", 1991's "Terminal Terror" and 1992's "Reborn Dogs". A retrospective DVD will follow in the spring.
