According to InFargo.com, the Gigantour 2013 concert scheduled for Sunday, August 4 at the Scheels Arena in Fargo, North Dakota has been canceled "due to circumstance beyond our control," arena officials announced Friday afternoon.
Refunds will be available beginning Monday, August 5. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster online or over the phone will be refunded automatically; all others will need to bring their printed tickets to the place they were purchased.

Speaking to "Saturday Night Scream" in April, Dave Mustaine stated about the lineup for this year's Gigantour: "I think [fans] are gonna be pretty stoked, because each one of the other bands on there, they're new bands comprised of a person who was a major celebrity from a really large band that went on to do something new."
Gigantour made its return last year for the first time since 2008. The multi-artist bill — with metal heavyweights MOTÖRHEAD, VOLBEAT and LACUNA COIL all personally picked by Mustaine — kicked off on January 26, 2012 in Camden, New Jersey and wrapped on March 3, 2012 in Austin.
