FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, DARKEST HOUR Members To Guest On FULL METAL JACKIE's Radio Show

Members of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and guitarist Mike Schleibaum of DARKEST HOUR will be the featured guests on this weekend's (July 17-19) edition of Full Metal Jackie's nationally syndicated radio show.

A new FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH track, entitled "Bulletproof", is available for streaming on the MySpace page of the U.K. branch of Spinefarm Records. The song comes off the Los Angeles metal band's sophomore album, "War Is The Answer", which is scheduled for release on October 6 via Prospect Park Records. The CD was produced by the band and Kevin Churko (OZZY OSBOURNE, IN THIS MOMENT), and was mixed by Randy Staub (METALLICA, MÖTLEY CRÜE, NICKELBACK). According to a press release, "the record evolves the band's already mature sound, ranging from the undeniable melodies in 'Hard to See' to the brutally nihilistic 'Burn It Down' [available for streaming below] — destined to please fans both new and old."

The band's next album will follow up its 2007 debut, "The Way Of The Fist", which has sold 337,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"The Eternal Return", the fifth full-length record from DARKEST HOUR, sold 4,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 104 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at position No. 1 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"The Eternal Return" was released on June 23 via Victory Records. The CD was produced by Brian McTernan (SENSES FAIL, THRICE, FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES) at his Baltimore, Maryland studio, Salad Days.
