EMERALD: New Album Samples Available For Download

Swiss melodic metallers EMERALD have posted sound clips of three songs from their recently released third full-length album, "Forces Of Doom". The three tracks — "Tears Of A Warrior", "Blood Of Our Kings" and "On The Wings Of The Night" — can be previewed here.

As previously reported, the follow-up to 2002's "Calling The Knights" was recorded at Mohrmann Studios in Bochum, Germany with producers Detlef Mohrmann and Axel Thubeauville. Included on the CD is a guest appearance by MAJESTY guitarist Tarek Maghary, who played a solo on the title cut, "Forces Of Doom".

EMERALD have scheduled a CD-release party on March 13 at the Bad Bonn in Düdingen, Switzerland. Joining them on the bill will be the Swiss metal band INISHMORE. EMERALD have also been confirmed for the Classic Metal Night on March 19 at the Zuckerfabrik in Frankenthal, Germany. Also set to appear are TYRANT EYES, BOOMERANG and DISTURBED MIND.
