EKTOMORF Officially Signs With AFM RECORDS

Hungarian hardcore/thrash metallers EKTOMORF have officially signed a new deal with AFM Records. "It's a great new chapter and we are very happy about it," says lead singer and founder Zoli. "We will enter Antfarm Studio in Denmark from November 1st and record the new album with [producer] Tue Madsen. The new songs are groovy and heavy down-tuned." 13 tracks have been written so far, including "Love And Live", "I Can See You", "What Does Not Kill, and Makes Me Stronger". Guests musicians on the CD will include Lord Nelson from STUCK MOJO and Mille Petrozza from KREATOR. "You can expect a very strong and punchy new EKTOMORF album," Zoltan says. A spring 2009 release is expected, followed by a European headlining tour, lots of festivals and a possible U.S. tour.

EKTOMORF earlier in the year completed the "Ambushing Europe Tour 2008" with STUCK MOJO, VENGINCE and TENSIDE.

The band's latest album, entitled "Outcast", was released in October 2006 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Antfarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MNEMIC, WITCHERY, RAUNCHY, HIMSA) and features a cover of the PRODIGY classic "Fuel My Fire".
