EAT THE DAY Re-Launch Vocalist Search

EAT THE DAY, the group led by former LIMP BIZKIT guitarist Wes Borland, have reopened their vocalist search, according to the band's official web site (

The following is a statement from Borland and the rest of the band on the matter:

"The search for a singer is still on. We are continuing to talk with [original choice for a singer, STALKING TOM frontman] Adam [Yas] as well as a few other singers, but we decided to try to go public with our search one more time. We think that the way we went about the search before might have been too presumptuous of us, because we assumed that we could attract the right kind of person without letting anyone hear what our music is like. We understand that this move may open us up for criticism, but we are taking this very seriously, and we must hear more people before we come to a final decision.

"We have decided to take samples from three of our songs and post them here on our website. Potential vocalists may download these samples, track over them, and e-mail them back to us, or send them to our p.o. box. The point of this is to hear what YOUR voice sounds like over OUR music. It's also a chance for many of you who have been wondering what we sound like to finally get a preview, but please keep in mind that these are only roughly tracked demos and will not appear this way on our album.
