DECONSTRUCT, the new Sacramento, California-based band featuring former HEATHEN/DIE KRUPPS drummer Darren Minter, vocalist Skitz, guitarist Joe Fraulob, and bassist Venessa, have been invited by DISTURBED to open the April 19 Music As A Weapon 2 concert at the San Jose Events Center in San Jose, California. TAPROOT and CHEVELLE are also scheduled to appear on the bill.

DECONSTRUCT are currently shopping a recently-recorded three-song demo entitled "Sign Of Things To Come". The CD, which contains the tracks "Deeper Down", "I Am" and "Decay", was said to be instrumental in DISTURBED's decision to showcase the band.
