DEATHSTARS Enter German Album Chart At No. 87

DEATHSTARS's sophomore album, "Termination Bliss", has entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 87.

As previously reported, DEATHSTARS have been confirmed as the support act for LACUNA COIL on March 5 at the Forum in London, England.

DEATHSTARS's video for the track "Cyanide" has been posted online at this location. The song comes off "Termination Bliss", which was released in Europe on January 27 via Nuclear Blast Records.

DEATHSTARS recently parted ways with guitarist Erik "Beast X Electric" Halvorsen. A session guitarist will be recruited for upcoming tours.

DEATHSTARS are one of the first confirmed bands for the Metalcamp 2006 festival, set to take place July 21-23 in Tolmin, Slovenia. Also scheduled to perform at the event are KATAKLYSM, WINTERSUN, HEAVEN SHALL BURN and ONE MAN ARMY & THE UNDEAD QUARTET. More confirmations will be announced soon.

DEATHSTARS' debut album, "Synthetic Generation" — originally issued in Sweden in March 2002 via the Universal affiliate LED Recordings — was released through Nuclear Blast in November 2003.

The Swedish band, in existence since January 2000, were previously known as SWORDMASTER and feature in their ranks former DISSECTION drummer Ole Öhman and guitarist Emil Nödtveidt (brother of DISSECTION leader Jon).
