COSMOSQUAD Announce Hollywood Gig

L.A.'s COSMOSQUAD, featuring guitarist Jeff Kollman (GLENN HUGHES, $IGN OF 4) and rhythm section Shane Gaalaas and Barry Sparks (ULI JON ROTH, MSG, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) will be co-headlining "21st Century Schizoid Night! - A Celebration of Guitar, Bass & Drums" at the Sixteen-Fifty in Hollywood CA on January 16 alongside MCGILL-MANRING-STEVENS, featuring Grammy-nominated bassist Michael Manring (MICHAEL HEDGES, ATTENTION DEFICIT). They will be joined by BUTTERMILK, a trio led by drummer Kofi Baker (SHAWN LANE, JONAS HELLBORG, MOJO), son of the legendary Ginger Baker. BUTTERMILK are taking over the opening slot from Chris Poland's OHM:, who had to bow out due to unforeseen circumstances (Poland is scheduled to make a special guest appearance with BUTTERMILK).

In other Kollman news, the guitarist will be gigging with SHAPE 68, featuring vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (ex-DEEP PURPLE, TRAPEZE) and drummer Robin DiMaggio (STEVE VAI, NEIL ZAZA), at the NAMM Sabian Nighttime Party on January 17. Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) and Billy Duffy (THE CULT) will make guest appearances. SHAPE 68 will be sharing the bill with the legendary TOWER OF POWER and EARTH, WIND & FIRE.
