AUDIOSLAVE, TOOL Members Land Acting Parts In Murder-Mystery

AUDIOSLAVE drummer Brad Wilk and TOOL/A PERFECT CIRCLE frontman Maynard James Keenan have landed acting parts in burgeoning screenwriter Chumahan Bowen's 20-minute short film, "Sleeping Dogs Lie", according to Wilk reportedly plays a Cincinnati native who believes he's stumbled upon clues to a 30-year-old murder mystery in tiny Texas town, while Keenan has a small role as the town sheriff's deputy. The film, which was produced by Redrock Entertainment Development, also stars veteran actor Ed Asner ("The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "Elf"). The producers plan to submit the short film to Sundance before deciding how it will be distributed.
