Former RAINBOW and current YNGWIE MALMSTEEN vocalist Doogie White will be traveling to Japan in early September to perform a special showcase gig with young Japanese guitarist Takayoshi Omura at Club Citta in Tokyo. Omura's debut album, entitled "Nowhere To Go", features guest appearances by White, Mark Boals (RING OF FIRE, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) and Richie Kotzen (ex-MR. BIG, POISON), and is scheduled for release on August 25 through Yamaha Music. Doogie is also going to be giving a vocal seminar in Tokyo where he will perform "Gethsemane (I Only Want To Say)" from "Jesus Christ Superstar".
