TOMMY LEE Presents DAVID LETTERMAN With CORNHUSKERS Stocking Cap
Former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee made an appearance on "The Late Show With David Letterman" on Oct. 22 to promote his new 288-page autobiography, "Tommyland". Noting that it was cold in the show's Ed Sullivan Theater, Lee — who has spent the past few weeks "studying" at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln — presented Letterman with a Cornhuskers stocking cap, according to the Lincoln Journal Star.
"Go Huskers," Letterman replied.
For the last two weeks, Lee has been in Lincoln and attending classes at the university as part of a reality show expected to air on NBC next year. He remarked to Letterman about Nebraskans' passion for the Cornhuskers.
"That (place), it's amazing," Lee told the host. "Everyone's in red."
