6TH AWAKENING Signs With APHOTIC RECORDS

Umeå, Sweden-based, female-fronted metal band 6TH AWAKENING has signed a deal with the Bainbridge Island, Washington label Aphotic Records. The group will enter the studio in early 2007 to begin recording its debut album for a tentative summer release.

6TH AWAKENING's most recent recording was a four-song demo/EP, entitled "Deadincide". All four cuts from the CD — "Black", "The One", "Dreamworld", and "Songs of Moab" — are available for free download from the group's official web site. A video for the song "Tongue Reaper" can be viewed at this location (Windows Media).
