SPINAL TAP's DEREK SMALLS Announces Initial All-Star Lineup For West Coast Tour

Derek Smalls, the bottom force of the fabled heavy metal band formerly known as SPINAL TAP, has announced the initial all-star line-up for his eagerly anticipated solo tour of West Coast cities this fall.

"Lukewarm Water Live!" kicks off at the The Wiltern in Los Angeles on November 6 with a rockstellar bill that includes, live in human form, TOTO's Steve Lukather, Stevie Nicks's celebrated guitarist Waddy Wachtel and rock aristocrat Dweezil Zappa. Beaming in, live on satellite, on all dates throughout this explosive celebration of all things loud will be guitar virtuoso Steve Vai, STEELY DAN legend Donald Fagen, multi-award winning actress, singer and comedian Jane Lynch, dynamic brass outfit SNARKY PUPPY HORNS and the outstanding Hungarian Studio Orchestra.

With more galactic guests to be announced, the tour goes from The Wiltern on to Seattle's Moore Theatre on November 8, Vancouver's Vogue Theatre on November 11 and San Francisco's Warfield Theatre on November 14.

Smalls says: "Playing live with a symphony orchestra and some of the greats in rock music was never anything I could even hope to dream of. But I can now!"

The series of concerts, which will act as a precursor to a major world tour planned for 2020, will feature music from Smalls's recently released album "Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing)" as well as favorites from the SPINAL TAP songbook. "Lukewarm Water Live!" follows a special one-off concert at The Palace in Los Angeles earlier this year which featured an array of guest talent, including, Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Dweezil Zappa, Paul Shaffer and TENACIOUS D (Jack Black, Kyle Gass), as well as live linkups with Donald Fagen, Jane Lynch, SNARKY PUPPY HORNS and the Hungarian Studio Orchestra.

Tour dates:

Nov. 06 - The Wiltern, Los Angeles, CA
Nov. 09 - Moore Theatre, Seattle, WA
Nov. 11 - The Vogue Theatre, Vancouver, BC
Nov. 14 - The Warfield Theatre, San Francisco, CA

The "Smalls Change" project was made possible by a major grant from the recently launched British Fund For Ageing Rockers.
