SOULFLY: 'Carved Inside' To Receive 'Headbanger's Ball' Premiere; XM To Broadcast Concert

Although SOULFLY's video for "Carved Inside" first appeared on European TV many months ago (around the time of the release of the band's latest CD, "Dark Ages"), it is now finally set to be premiered in the States. MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" will air this video for the first time on May 27, so tune in at 10 p.m. EST to watch. "Carved Inside" is already available for download here.

In other news, XM Satellite Radio recorded SOULFLY's entire May 10, 2006 show at Jaxx in Springfield, VA. Check back at the band's official web site,, for information on when this will be broadcast onXM Satellite Radio.

Additionally, for any who may be interested, SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera recently ran into gangsta rap and film superstar Ice Cube at The W Hotel in New York, NY. Not only did Ice Cube actually know who SOULFLY was, he was "a very cool dude as well," according to a posting on SOULFLY's web site.

Also on the SOULFLY-related front, it has been announced that the band's upcoming tour of Europe will in fact consist of two seperate legs. The dates for the first leg of the tour can be found at this location, and the dates for the second leg of the tour, which will begin in mid-July, should start rolling out shortly. SOULFLY play in Albuquerque, NM tonight (May 19), and will finish off their U.S. tour tomorrow in Tempe, AZ.
