SONATA ARCTICA: Gold for 'Winterheart's Guild'

SONATA ARCTICA's third album, "Winterheart's Guild", has been certified gold in Finland for sales in excess of 15,000 copies. The band will be touring North America in support of their latest album, "Reckoning Night", beginning in mid-January.

As previously reported, SONATA ARCTICA have been confirmed as the opening act for German hard rock singer Doro Pesch (ex-WARLOCK) on her headlining European tour in April/May 2006. In addition, SONATA ARCTICA have announced several headlining shows in Holland, France and Switzerland.

SONATA ARCTICA's fourth studio album, "Reckoning Night", was released last year via Nuclear Blast Records. A live SONATA ARCTICA DVD/CD, entitled "For the Sake of Revenge", is scheduled for release on March 31, 2006.
