SLAYER, CARCASS, MESHUGGAH, AT THE GATES: Photos From GODS OF METAL Available
Italian news blog Musica Metal has uploaded photos from the second day of the three-day Gods Of Metal festival, which is being held June 27-29 in Bologna, Italy. Pictures of SLAYER, CARCASS, MESHUGGAH, AT THE GATES, TESTAMENT and THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN can be viewed at this location.
According to Musica Metal, this SLAYER-headlined second day of the festival drew a couple of thousands fans less than the previous, IRON-MAIDEN-led day, but nonetheless the Parco Arena Nord in Bologna was looking very crowded in its 35,000-capacity field. AT THE GATES and CARCASS reunion shows met and exceeded fan expectations, with chants of their names heard in the arena for a long time after their sets had ended. The show-stealer of the day, though, was MESHUGGAH, with a CD-perfect energetic performance that won them many fans in the audience.
