SLASH's Wife Confirms Guitarist's Dad-To-Be Status

Perla Hudson, wife of former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash, has confirmed via a posting at the official forum of Slash's now-defunct group SLASH'S SNAKEPIT that she is pregnant with the couple's first child, due in early September. Here is Perla's posting in its entirety:

“Hi Everyone! Pitmaster was here showing me your wonderful messages and I wanted to say 'Thank You' soooo very much for all your support and good wishes! We are very fortunate to have friends like you all!

“Yes, we are having a baby! This is the first public release of our baby on the way. I have no idea how it got out before! The truth is we were in Ireland & England last December (Slash was jamming with Ronny Wood from the STONES) and we must have been having a 'real good time' because bingo, when we got home I was pregnant!! (a little Rolling Stone…) Bullsh.t! A Gunner!!!

“So that's the story kids. We will be expecting junior's arrival the first week of September! We are so excited! Can you believe it, Slash & I will be parents! Wish us luck! I am beginning to get a tummy & Slash is the best caregiver a woman can wish for. He is truly the best! The Love of my life!

“Take care everyone, we will stop in and give an update from time to time. With love, Perla
