SEETHER Bassist Marries Longtime Girlfriend
SEETHER bassist Dale Stewart married his longtime girlfriend Michelle Thomas on Saturday, September 21 in Savannah, Georgia. SEETHER frontman Shaun Morgan served as best man at the event, while guitarist Corey Lowery was one of the groomsmen.
According to the couple's page on The Knot wedding web site, "Dale and Michelle met at a SEETHER show in Chicago in September of 2012. He was rocking out and she was in the crowd. In between songs, he asked her to join him for a drink after the concert. She agreed and they hit it off. Now here they are almost seven years later."
Stewart and Morgan formed SEETHER in South Africa in 1999 under the name SARON GAS. The band released its first album, "Fragile", in 2000, and eventually caught the attention of American record label Wind-Up Records.
SEETHER has eight albums under its belt, including its most recent, "Poison The Parish", which came out in 2017.
The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Morgan and Stewart remaining constant.
