QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Frontman Pays Tribute To ANTHONY BOURDAIN

According to The Pulse Of Radio, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE frontman Josh Homme posted a new video online in honor of his late friend Anthony Bourdain, whose birthday was Tuesday (June 25). Bourdain took his own life last June. The clip features appearance from THE RACONTEURS, THE STROKES, ROYAL BLOOD, ARCTIC MONKEYS, Colin Hanks and others.

Homme had a close relationship with Bourdain, and even wrote the theme song to Bourdain's show, "Parts Unknown", with former QUEENS member Mark Lanegan. Both were devastated by the death of the celebrity chef and travel show host.

Homme wrote online at the time of Bourdain's death: "Dammit Tony. I'm so sorry. I'm so destroyed. I love you brother. I miss you too much already. My love & condolences to (daughter) Ariane & (estranged wife) Ottavia."

It was reported earlier this week that Homme is working on a new QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE album, with FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl and ZZ TOP guitarist Billy Gibbons both set to make guest appearances.
