PROTOTYPE: New Demo Track Posted Online

Los Angeles-based progressive thrash metal band PROTOTYPE has issued the following update:

"Over the last few months we've been working diligently on some new PROTOTYPE material and we finally have something to play for you all...

"With the addition of drummer Nic Ritter to the fold, we've recorded pre-production demos of some new songs, the first of which you can now listen to on the PROTOTYPE MySpace page! This song is called 'Chosen Ones' and it is part of a larger concept we've put together for our new album, which will hopefully be recorded and released early next year.

"There are three more demo tunes we'll be releasing within the next couple of weeks so check back often for more music.

"Check it out and let us know what you think. We hope you all dig the new tune!"

PROTOTYPE is featured in the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock video game with the song "The Way It Ends", taken from the group's sophomore album, "Continuum". Players are able to put their skills to the test, playing lead, rhythm or bass guitar on this challenging PROTOTYPE track. Also included in Guitar Hero III are songs from METALLICA, GUNS N' ROSES, IRON MAIDEN, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, THE SEX PISTOLS, SLAYER and other top rock artists.
