The makers of "Get Thrashed: The Story of Thrash Metal", the much-anticipated documentary profiling the thrash metal scene of the early Eighties and its impact on the music scene, have posted a gallery of Slipped Disc Records "in-store" archives, featuring photos of such artists as MEGADETH, SLAYER, EXODUS and DEATH ANGEL holding signing sessions at the legendary record store in Valley Stream, New York. "Get Thrashed: The Story of Thrash Metal" had its world premiere at the 2006 Raindance Film Festival in London. The documentary screened on October 3 at the CineWorld, Trocadero Centre, Piccadilly, London. Director Rick Ernst, a longtime freelance producer for MTV, was on hand at the event.
