NACHTMYSTIUM: Mixing Sessions To Begin Late January

Chicago-area psychedelic black metal group NACHTMYSTIUM has issued the following update:

"We have spent two weeks in December tracking our new album, 'Assassins', to be released by Candlelight (Europe) and Century Media (rest of the world). The session was the perfect combination of productive and destructive, and the proof is the music itself. The release date will be confirmed shortly, as mixing and mastering are underway at the end of January."

Recording sessions for "Assassins" took place at Volume Studios in Chicago with producer Sanford Parker (MINSK, YAKUZA, BIBLE OF THE DEVIL). The CD will feature a guest appearance on drums by Tony Laureano (DIMMU BORGIR, ANGELCORPSE, NILE).

NACHTMYSTIUM will embark on the European Invasion 2008 tour with GENGHIS TRON and ZOROASTER beginning on May 9 in Brighton, England.

NACHTMYSTIUM recently posted a new track on its MySpace page. Entitled "Worldfall", the song is taken from NACHTMYSTIUM's upcoming split album with LURKER OF CHALICE, slated for a February 2008 release via Southern Lord.
