MY RUIN To Enter Studio Tomorrow

MY RUIN, the Los Angeles-based hard rock band fronted by Tairrie B, has issued the following update:

"Thank you again to everyone who joined us in the U.K. and France on our summer tour and everyone who came out to our last West Coast shows.

"We have been busy writing and in pre-production. Forgive us for keeping things a bit quiet lately. We wanted to soley focus on our music and our band.

"Tomorrow we will be entering the studio in Los Angeles to begin recording our new album, which we will be working on through November.

"As you all know, this will be the first album we make with our current lineup and while we cannot tell you any details yet, we will say that we do have a title and ten very goddamn heavy songs. We hope when you hear it, you will love then like we do.

"Over the last year and a half, we have toured and played many shows together, getting to know each other not just as musicians, but as friends. Along the way, we have grown stronger and become the band we had always hoped to be. The past is just the past.

"Today we are very happy with where we are and we hope that those of you who have stayed with us and true at heart will follow us into our next chapter. We are also still editing footage from both of our U.K. tours and plan to release our DVD with our album next year.

"We will not be playing any shows for the rest of this yeat. Our first show back will be in January 2007 and we will be debuting our new album at that time. In the meantime, we will be posting updates & photos from the studio in our blog and online diary."

MY RUIN's recent dates were in support of their latest album, "The Brutal Language".
