LADY GAGA's 'Judas' Gets Heavy Metal Treatment Courtesy Of DEFENDER

DEFENDER, the newly formed Los Angeles-based heavy metal band featuring founding CELLADOR members Bill Hudson (guitar) and Mikey Gremio (vocals) alongside ZODIAC MINDWARP/ex-REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE drummer Bruno Agra, has made two new songs — "Judas" (LADY GAGA cover) and "Don't Fall Away" — available for streaming in the YouTube clips below. The tracks were recorded at the band's studio and produced by drummer Bruno Agra.

Drawing influences from classics like IRON MAIDEN, PANTERA, HELLOWEEN, SKID ROW and METALLICA all the way to the modern hard rock made by SHINEDOWN, AVENGED SEVENFOLD and THREE DAYS GRACE, as well as the aggressiveness of SLAYER, FEAR FACTORY and MESHUGGAH, DEFENDER intends to create catchy songs with great, hooky melodies, intricate and technical guitar work and heavy, and precise riffing. Lyrically, they touch both real and fictional subjects, such as a futuristic third world war or the need to live here and now before it's too late.

DEFENDER is currently in pre-production for its debut album, to be released later in the year.
