KRUX/Ex-THERION Singer MATS LEVÉN Working On Solo Album

Swedish vocalist Mats Levén (KRUX, THERION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) is currently writing and recording demos for his upcoming solo CD. He says, "Right now I'm working with songs 12-14. I'll write 20-25 songs before I start recording the album.

According to Levén, several guest musicians will appear on the LP, which is expected sometime next year. He says, "Since I've played everything myself on the demos, I'll also keep some of those recordings on the album (mostly guitars and keys/orchestral arrangements)."

KRUX's sophomore album, entitled "II", was released in October 2006 via GMR Music. The follow-up to the band's self-titled debut was recorded at Studioland studio in Upplands Väsby, Sweden.
