Italian folk/power metallers ELVENKING entered Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland on February 24 with producer Nino Laurenne (AMORPHIS, LORDI, SONATA ARCTICA, APOCALYPTICA) to begin recording the new CD. Nino previously worked with the band on "The Winter Wake" and "The Scythe" CDs.

Due this fall via AFM Records, ELVENKING's new album will feature a guest appearance by Jon Oliva (SAVATAGE, JON OLIVA'S PAIN) on two songs.
ELVENKING recently parted ways with bassist Gorlan and replaced him with Jakob.
Drummer Zender left ELVENKING last year for "personal" reasons and was replaced by Symohn.
ELVENKING's most recent album, "Red Silent Tides", was released on September 17, 2010 in Europe (November 9, 2010 in North America) via AFM Records.
