DREAM THEATER Keyboardist Schedules New Live Video Chat

DREAM THEATER keyboardist Jordan Rudess will take part in a live video chat on Sunday, January 10 at 3:00 p.m. EST at Vokle.com. Jordan will talk about DREAM THEATER, his solo work and his continuing adventures in the world of sound!

The event can be found at this location.

As previously reported, Jordan Rudess and his 13-year-old daughter Kayla have recorded a song called "For The Moment" to raise money for an organization that is close to their hearts.

Proceeds go to the non-profit Central Asia Institute to promote and support community-based education, especially for girls, in remote regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Greg Mortenson, co-author of the #1 New York Times bestseller "Three Cups of Tea" and Nobel Peace Prize nominee is the co-founder of the Central Asia Institute.

Central Asia Institute's mission is to promote and support community-based education, especially for girls, in remote regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. The philosophy is to empower the local people through their own initiative. As of 2008, Central Asia Institute has successfully established 130 schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan, which provide (or have provided) education to over 51,000 students.
