Swedish power metallers DRAGONLAND have been confirmed as the support act for YNGWIE MALMSTEEN for two shows in the U.K. next week. The dates are as follows:

May 30 - Hammersmith Apollo – London, UK
Jun. 01 - Rock City – Nottingham, UK

MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, who were originally scheduled to co-headline the shows with MALMSTEEN, recently pulled out of the tour, citing the fact that the trek wasn't being advertised as an equal-billing event as the reason for the cancellation.

DRAGONLAND's third album, "Starfall", was released last year via Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Holy War" was recorded at Tom Englund's (EVERGREY) Division One Studios in Sweden with Englund producing. The Japanese edition of the album, available via King Records, includes a bonus track, a cover of X-JAPAN's "Rusty Nail".
