DISTURBED, KORN, LIMP BIZKIT, Others Make 'Worst Songs' List
According to The Pulse of Radio, songs by DISTURBED, KORN, LIMP BIZKIT and others all made a list of the worst songs of the past decade, as compiled by New York-based alternative weekly newspaper The Village Voice. The number one track was "Big Yellow Taxi" by COUNTING CROWS with Vanessa Carlton, followed closely by LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst's remix of "What's Goin' On" by Artists Against AIDS Worldwide.
BLUE OCTOBER was the highest-charting alternative act on the list, hitting No. 4 with "Jump Rope", while LIMP BIZKIT, KORN, DISTURBED and NICKELBACK all made the Top 25. The list's compilers called the 2000s a "vile, contemptible decade marked by commerce over reason," adding that the decade was "filled with some of the most despicable examples of music inflicted on the world's hearing persons."
