BLOODCLOT Schedules East Coast Dates

BLOODCLOT, the new band featuring former BIOHAZARD drummer Danny Schuler, ex-CRO-MAGS frontman John Joseph, former SPUDMONSTERS/BIOHAZARD guitarist Scott Roberts, and ex-MERAUDER bassist Rick Lopez, will make its first Trenton appearance at Championship Bar & Grill on Saturday, June 16. The evening boasts a lineup that's reminiscent of a classic old-school mixed-genre show — the skatecore sounds of Chuck Treece's MCRAD, the groove-laden, heavy hip-hop of SUBHOODZ, and the straight-edged fueled hardcore of Trenton's TRIPLE THREAT.

Upcoming BLOODCLOT shows:

Jun. 16 - Championship Bar and Grill - Trenton, NJ
Jun. 22 - El' n' Gee Club - New London, CT
Jun. 24 - Crazy Donkey - Farmingdale, NY

The members of BLOODCLOT are cemented forever in the annals of New York hardcore with their time spent in CRO-MAGS, BIOHAZARD, and MERAUDER. Not only did these three bands break major ground for the genre, they kicked down many walls that led to a rabid following of metal, punk, and hardcore fans alike.

BLOODCLOT will release its self-produced debut, "Burn Babylon Burn", later this year. The album was written and recorded in Schuler's home studio. BLOODCLOT's music is not a throwback of the members' previous bands, but an amalgamation of the hardcore DIY ethic mixed with intense, heavy riffs fueled by the volatile times we live in, plus the developed musicianship that comes along with decades in the business.

"We play what we feel," said vocalist John Joseph. "If the sounds move us, then that's what goes down. As an artist, it's important not to write for anybody else other than yourself because you have to take it to the audience and if it ain't real, they can smell the lie."

Championship Bar & Grill is located at 931 Chambers St. in Trenton, New Jersey. Entrance fee is $10.00 at the door. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. This is an all-ages event and those who are 21 and up with proper ID can purchase alcohol at the bar.
