BLACKTHORN's 'Gossamer Witchcraft' Released Through RAVENHEART MUSIC

English label Ravenheart Music has just released the debut album from the Russian all-female symphonic dramatic metal band BLACKTHORN, enttled "Gossamer Witchcraft".

Formed in 2004, BLACKTHORN released its first demo, "The Prologue of Eschaton" (mixed by Felix from ARAFEL), in 2007 to positive reviews. Offers of gigs throughout Russia followed, allowing the band to perfect its witchcraft.

"Gossamer Witchcraft" was mixed and mastered at KIV Records in Moscow by Igor Korolyov. The CD is described in a press release as a "collection of songs [influenced by] gothic metal, symphonic black metal and classical music. The lyrics are inspired by witchcraft, misanthropy and ancient cults."
