ASPHYX To Enter Studio This Month

The reformed lineup of the Dutch death metal outfit ASPHYXMartin van Drunen (vocals), Wannes Gubbels (bass/vocals), Paul Baayens (guitar) and Bob Bagchus (drums) — has issued the following update:

"ASPHYX will record two songs at the end of January 2008 at the Harrow studios: covering CELTIC FROST's 'Os Abysmi Vel Daath' from their 'Monotheist' album and one new ASPHYX song, called 'Death... The Brutal Way'. It will be in the vein of 'Serenade in Lead' (from the album 'Last One On Earth'. Expect fast and furious death metal! Maybe we will put this song on our website when the recordings are done."

ASPHYX will headline the "Triumph Of Death" concert on March 29, 2008 at Knaack Club in Berlin, Germany. The billing for the event is as follows:
