ANTHRAX Guitarist Performs JUDAS PRIEST Cover With METAL SKOOL: Video Available

ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian performed a cover of JUDAS PRIEST's "You Got Another Thing Coming" with the '80s metal/hard rock tribute band METAL SKOOL at comedian/actor Brian Posehn's 40th birthday party on Tuesday (June 27) in Los Angeles, California. Watch a video clip of the performance at YouTube.com.

Brian Posehn's new album, "Live In: Nerd Rage", is due on July 11 via Relapse Records. The CD features guest appearances by Ian, bassist Joey Vera (ARMORED SAINT, FATES WARNING), drummer John Tempesta (WHITE ZOMBIE, THE CULT, TESTAMENT) and lead guitarist Jonathan Donais (SHADOWS FALL), among others. The album contains two musical cuts; one by Brian's heavy metal band POSEHN and another by TITANNICA. POSEHN's lineup includes Ian, Vera, Tempesta, Donais and Russ Parrish (METAL SKOOL, ex-FIGHT), with Brian himself on vocals. POSEHN offers up an original track, "Metal By Numbers", while TITANNICA (the metal band from the beloved "Mr. Show" sketch) delivers their epic song "Try Again, Again".
